Battle-ax and Dawn Mok

From two near opposite angles, Battle-ax and Dawn Mok's collaboration formally re-approaches classical composition, new music and their popularized amalgam of incidental music on the one hand, musical dialectics arising from experimental and noise music on the other‚ open, never redundant improvisations that tonally seem to intersect Romantic pieces with graphic notation, while the instrument playing them and thus their musical content is molded through a series of analog effects and a numerical ideology towards DAWs, confining linearity and genre in an anti-formulaic and deconstructive understanding of music writing.
