UOM
UOM is a music project by Li Tavor and Nicolas Buzzi. Their work includes rhythm oriented electronic music, algorythm-generated installations and electroacoustic concerts. Their performances include compositions and improvisation. Most of their music encloses Li Tavors voice and reduced and repetitive synthesized sound constructs.
In Rome, UOM debuts with a setup consisting of voice, sampler keyboard and non-sequenced modular synthesizer. Aiming to move the focus from generated patterns to nonlinear time structures and to explore the vivid timbral morphing possibilities and dynamic range of their electronic instruments and the human voice.
